Conor first started playing bass at the age of 14. Although he was praised by his teacher, Conor dedicated himself mainly to sports (baseball, basketball, lacrosse) and friends, and ended up setting his bass aside. "I was not serious about learning music during these years. Later after realizing I wasn’t going to be some superstar point-guard for an NBA team or a star first baseman in the Major Leagues, I re-discovered my passion for the bass at 21 and haven’t looked back since."
After a year of lessons and casual jamming, Conor finally felt confident about his skills enough to join a band, so he promptly joined, not one band, but three and found himself playing everything from Hip-Hop to Reggae, Metal and Rock & Roll. "For about 2 years straight I was either rehearsing or playing a show 7 nights a week!"
Then in June of 2006 at a friend’s birthday party in San Francisco Conor ran into childhood friend, Finian Makepeace, who was jamming some tunes on a guitar. "Finian asked me: 'Hey, do you still play bass? Go get it and lets jam!' Little did I know at the time this would be the beginning of a journey that would take me all over the USA, Canada, & the UK playing with the likes of Jason Mraz, Brett Dennen, Train, Eric Hutchinson, Raining Jane, Bushwalla, Justin Kredible and countless others."
During this time Conor has also played with the likes of Avasa & Matty Love, Keaton Simmons, Parker Ainsworth, Bushwalla, & Jason Mraz.
"Music is a language, it speaks to people on an unexplainable & indescribable level, it makes you move, sing, think and dance! I am grateful that I get to be the communicator of that language on a nightly basis. Music has caught my heart, and I intend to follow it wherever it may lead me."
